Boughton Monchelsea Cub Pack

Cubs is the third section in Scouting for young people aged 8-10½ years old and is more advanced than Beavers to reflect the age range and increased ability.

Cubs offer a range of activities, from outdoor adventures to creative projects all of which are designed to help Cubs learn and grow in their personal and social development. Cubs can participate in activities such as camping, hammock setup, den building and moonlit hikes, as well as learning practical skills like cooking, fire-making, and first aid.

Cubs are encouraged to try new activities and take leadership roles, both within the group and in the broader community.

Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.
