Welcome to Boughton Monchelsea Scout Group

Scouting has been a part of Boughton Monchelsea for over 50 years and it's amazing to think of all the hundreds of young people that have benefited from the exciting things Scouting, at all levels, has to offer.

Scouting is a wonderful way to allow young people to grow in confidence and to gain social and practical skills that will help them throughout their lives. And with IT playing such a big part in their lives, it's nice for them to be able to take a step back, focus on the real world and help to make a positive impact in their local Community and in the Scouting network.

We have active sections for Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, catering for children from 4 to 14 years old. We meet weekly, during term time, at the Slingsby Scout Hut, a dedicated building that was built specifically for us in the heart of Boughton Monchelsea.
